Beeswax Candle Workshop

Ever wanted to learn how to make your own beeswax taper candles? Join us Saturday, September 19 at 3 PM at Oxbow Orchard in Valley View for an afternoon of candle making at the farm.

You’ll work alongside beekeepers Sal and Erin Caruso of Crooked River Naturals and learn the traditional process of handcrafting pure beeswax taper candles—simple, beautiful pieces made from one of the most remarkable materials our bees produce.

There’s something special about a handmade beeswax candle: the warm glow, the subtle natural scent of the wax, and the satisfaction of knowing you made it yourself. They’re an easy way to bring a little simple luxury to a dinner table, holiday gathering, or quiet evening at home.

Each participant will make and take home six beeswax taper candles and two candlestick holders—ready for holiday entertaining, hostess gifts, or, of course, keeping for yourself. $50 per participant. All tools and…
