About the event
Felted soap is a bar of soap that has been encased in layers of felted alpaca fleece. Using it can gently exfoliate your skin and will make the soap last 2 to 3 times longer. It replaces using a washcloth or loofah in the bath or shower. Alpaca fleece is naturally antimicrobial, odor resistant, eco-friendly and hypo-allergenic! To use a felted soap, just wet and rub the fiber to create a wonderful lather. When the soap is at its end, the fiber will shrink with it and become a scrubby!
In this workshop you will:
• Learn how to felt soap using alpaca fleece
• One felting needle to take home
• One felted soap to take home
Workshop size is limited. Participants must be 14 years or older or accompanied by an adult. Working with sharp needles. Students will be provided with a felting pad to use during class.
