Needle Felting - Morning

Learn needle felting from Lisa Stemnock of Castlehouse Gardens.

In this workshop you will learn how to create three dimensional shapes and figures by repeatedly stabbing wool fibers with a specialized barbed needle, essentially "sculpting" with wool to form different designs, using techniques like layering and shaping the wool to achieve the desired outcome. We will provide all the basic tools during the class: felting needles, a felting mat, and various types of wool roving.

Needle felting is an art form that anyone can easily learn, whether you're a seasoned crafter or someone who's never picked up a needle before. It's a relaxing activity that both kids and adults can enjoy, at home or as a portable craft to take on the go.
