Spoon Carving

Try your hand at spoon carving with Matthias Doherty.  

Explore the techniques of shaping fresh wood using hand tools.

Everyone will leave with a spoon of their own.  All tools and materials provided. The workshop will be held outdoors in the farm picnic area. In cases of rain we be working under an awning or in the barn.

Important site details: Livestock and guardian dog always on site. Please leave your dogs at home.

Please park carefully in our gravel parking lot around Oxbow Market. Overflow parking along our fence line in the grass. Picnic area open for picnicking and relaxing. Sturdy walking shoes and dressing for weather highly recommended. Portable toilet facility on site. Please respect our farm facilities that we care for and share with the public.
